FIELD: nuclear power engineering and nuclear power industry. SUBSTANCE: liquid-phase material, lead-containing metal including boron-containing polymer, and polyester resin are proposed to be introduced in core of reactor incorporated in shipboard or stationary nuclear power plant or mounted outside the latter which are to be then transformed to solid phase to facilitate disposal of spent nuclear fuel including in emergency situations and to prevent unauthorized removal of highly enriched material from core.
