A cover screen covers the cleaning surface and has an outlet aperture for the dirt-fluid mixture. The cover screen (5) covers a piece of rail (17) with rail groove (3). In the area of the jet-side face wall (8) the high pressure nozzle (1) is located, with which the high pressure fluid jet (2) is directed onto the contact point (4) in the rail-track groove. The reflected fluid jets (11) are thrown backwards at an angle which is steeper than the inclination of a lower screen wall (7) rising in a forward manner in the direction of travel (19). The reflected fluid jets pass directly through the outlet aperture (18).
