PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption and ensure longer service life and complete water proof by changing a light scattering member in a light transmissive cover member mounted to a lamp body and incorporating a light emitting element. SOLUTION: A lamp body 1 is a bottomed cylindrical metal case with an opened upper end, and an eyelet 1b is arranged to maintain insulation with the lamp body 1 at a bottom part. At the opened end of the lamp body 1, a light transmissive cover member 3 is preferably mounted with water or air tightness by adhesion, caulking, or any other suitable securing means. A light emitting element 2 is a semiconductor light emitting element such as LED, and various color emissions such as red, blue, green, and orange are used. The light scattering member 4 charged in the light transmissive cover member 3 is made of transparent materials such as variously shaped transparent acrylic resins and glass or the like. By using the light scattering member 4, even a light emitting element with its narrow light emitting angle can be widely scattered, and light can be visible from any direction. |
