PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound battery electrode and a cylindrical battery having a high reliability and are suitable for miniaturization/and high capacity. SOLUTION: A wound battery electrode 1 are formed by spirally laminating a band-shaped positive electrode sheet 2, an interlayer insulation sheet 3, a negative electrode sheet 4 and the interlayer insulation sheet 3. In this case, a plurality of races 2a are formed in parallel along a winding axis at least the outer surface of the positive electrode sheets 2 on the inner layer side of the wound battery electrode 1. A cylindrical battery is provided by the use of the above-mentioned wound battery electrode 1. |
