PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic answering telephone set with which the convenience of message reproduction is improved without useless reproduction when a plurality of messages are recorded. SOLUTION: When a prescribed operation has been accepted by a key part 19, a control part 22 displays the list of items corresponding to respective messages stored in a voice memory 20 on a display part 18. Further, when operation for designating any item on the list has been accepted by the key part 19, the control part 22 performs control so as to reproduce the message corresponding to the relevant item.
