<p>This disclosure claims 1,2-diol functional polysiloxane emulsions obtainable by a variety of polymerization methods. These emulsions comprise an organopolysiloxane polymer having pendant organic diol groups, at least one nonionic surfactant, at least one anionic surfactant and water. The product emulsions are useful as fiber treatment agents and provide softness with hydrophilicity to fibers treated therewith.</p> |
