PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid-state laser rod excitation module which is capable of exciting solid-state laser rod at high power and at high efficiency to obtain a laser light having high beam quality. SOLUTION: This module is provided with a diffuse reflecting cylinder 4, a stacked-type semiconductor laser 5, a means 6 for converging semiconductor laser light, a means 7 for introducing semiconductor laser light which holds the semiconductor laser light converged by the means 6 almost as it is in a direction parallel to the lamination direction of bar element and introduces it to the inside of the cylinder 4, a means 8 for diffusing semiconductor laser light which diffuses the semiconductor laser light introduced by the means 7, and a means 9 for changing the direction of semiconductor laser light which deviates the advancing directon of the semiconductor laser light introduced by the means 7 from the direction of a solid-state laser rod 2. |
