SDH TRANSMISSION SYSTEM, REGENERATIVE REPEATER AND TERMINAL STATION TRANSMITTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the probability of a disable speech of an ordering for maintenance considerably due to a deteriorated transmission line or a fault of a device with respect to the SDH transmission system having the ordering line, the regenerative repeater and the terminal station transmitter. SOLUTION: Each of the terminal station transmitters 1-2, 1-5 and a regenerative repeater 1-4 is provided with an E1 byte extract insert section 1-7 for a section overhead in an SDH frame and an E1L byte extract insert section 1-72 for maintenance ordering in an LSV frame for transmission of maintenance monitor information with a wavelength different from a wavelength of an optical signal of the SDH frame. The regenerative repeater 1-4 is also provided with an analog interface section 1-82' having a coupling means that synthesizes (adds) and distributes an E1 byte voice signal and an E1L byte voice signal. The ordering voice signals in the E1 byte of the SDH frame and the E1L byte of the LSV frame are transmitted while being overlapped with each other.
