PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a liquid crystal display device have high definition and low power consumption by making a shift register operate with a sufficiently high speed even at the time of clouding phenomenon in which a drain current decreases remarkably in a region of a low drain-source voltage of n-channel TFT configuring a shift register contained in a liquid crystal display device building in a peripheral circuit. SOLUTION: An n-channel TFT is prevented beforehand from entering a clouding region to avoid an influence of the clouding phenomenon in which a drain current is decreased, by configuring a unit shift register 41 contained in a peripheral circuit 45 of a liquid crystal display device from NOR gates 42-44, structuring each NOR gate 42-45 of the n-channel TFT to be connected in parallel, and maximizing the drain-source voltage of the n-channel TFT. |
