PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which unevenness in light emission is generated in a light-emitting diode, due to the presence/absence of a wiring pattern of an electrode near an island semiconductor layer. SOLUTION: In this light-emitting diode array, a plurality of island semiconductor layers formed by stacking a semiconductor layers 2 of a first conductivity type and a semiconductor layer 3 of a second conductivity type are laid out in arrays on a substrate 1, and a common electrode 5 is connected to the semiconductor layers 2, while individual electrodes 4 are connected to the semiconductor layers 3. Each adjacent semiconductor layers 3 from the same side in the arraying direction of the island semiconductor layers are connected to the same individual electrode 4, and the individual electrodes 4 are alternately led out on the counter-end sides of the substrate 1. The common electrode 5 is provided on both lateral sides in the arraying direction of the island semiconductor layers. The semiconductor layers 2 under the semiconductor layers 3, connected to the same individual electrode 4 from the opposite sides in the arraying direction of the island semiconductor layers, are distributed alternately and connected to common electrodes 5a and 5b on both lateral sides. A dummy wiring 7 is provided between the island semiconductor layers, where a wiring exists for connecting to the individual electrodes 4 and the common electrodes 5. |
