<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always realize exact coordinate transforming by detecting and automatically correcting the deviation of a transformation coefficient (calibration) based on an input instruction from a user to a touch panel. SOLUTION: This touch panel type data input device is constituted so that an input operation range 5 of a touch panel 1 matches a display range 6 of a screen 2. The device has a means (step S2) for discriminating whether a screen coordinate value obtained by coordinate transforming processing based on the input instruction to the touch panel 1 is included in the display range of the screen 2 or not. When the screen coordinate value is out of the display range of the screen 2, the deviation information of the transformation coefficient corresponding to the amount of deviation from a prescribed reference position within the display range of the screen 2 is calculated (steps S4 and S5).</p> |
