<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device which make an operating system operable so as to activate a computer in a low-power state in response to an interruption request. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a central processing unit 12 which is so constituted as to execute an operating system; a system memory 18 which is coupled with the CPU 12; a core logic 22 which is coupled with the CPU 12 and provided so as to receive at least one interruption signal and generates an operating system interruption in response to one interruption request of the said interruption request signal when the computer system is in the low- power state and activates a computer system in a low-power state by the operating system in response to the interruption of the operating system, and at least one wake device which generates the interruption request of the interruption request signal.</p> |
