<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the mounting workability for the auxiliary-machine class of an electrical connection box and perform simply the maintenance work of its auxiliary- machine class, even after its assembling into a vehicle body. SOLUTION: In an electrical connection box 1 of a plate-form main body 10 for mounting thereon an auxiliary-machine class 2 and a box type cover 20, so attached to the main body 10 as to cover therewith the auxiliary-machine class 2, the cover 20 is divided into a sidewall portion 21 and ceiling portion 31. A fastening direction X for fastening therein the ceiling portion 31 to the sidewall portions 21 by screws is made the same in an assembling direction Y for assembling therein the electrical connection box 1 into a vehicle body. Also, forming in the ceiling portion 31 a working window 32 for monitoring the connection of the electrical connection box 1 with a power supply circuit present in the vehicle body, a cap portion 33 for covering therewith the working window 32 is fastened to the ceiling portion 31 by screws in a fastening direction W in the same assembling direction Y. In order to make the ceiling portion 31 a sliding type, a pair of opposite guide plates is provided to each other on the sidewall portions 21 and an arresting plate is provided at one end of the ceiling portion 31, and the ceiling and sidewall portions 31, 21 are engaged with each other through the engagement of the arresting plate with the guide plate.</p> |
