A covering textile (1) for clothing is in the form of a knitted material comprising antistatic threads and/or fibers. An Independent claim is also included for a shirt collar, shirt or similar piece comprising one or more woven fabric pieces associated with the above covering textile (1). Preferred Features: The threads and/or fibers preferably consist of antistatic material threads or threads which have been treated with an antistatic agent. The antistatic threads and/or fibers may be combined with non-antistatic threads, 5-60% of the threads and/or fibers having antistatic properties. The textile includes an adhesive or thermal bonding material for attaching to a woven fabric or beading.
