PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device constituted so that the feeding action of a recording material can be controlled by efficiently avoiding a seam not only when an image is formed on one side (first surface) but also when the image is formed on both-sides (second surface). SOLUTION: When the length of a circulating path except a paper inversion part is defined as L1+L2, the circumferential length of a recording material carrying means 5 is defined as Ls, a prescribed gap between the recording materials is defined as Li and N is defined as an integral number, they are set so as to be L1+L2=N×Ls+Li. Thus, since the carrying action of even the second recording material inverted and made to circulate in the circulating path need not be unnecessarily stopped in order to avoid a seam, productivity is enhanced. It is preferable that N is an even number. |
