PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided image forming device which prevents irregularities in a toner image when the toner image formed on a first image carrying means is moved to a second image carrying means and when the toner image formed on the first image carrying means is transferred to the surface of a transfer material while the second image carrying means is put in between, and also which prevents lightning when the toner image on the second image carrying means is transferred to the back surface of the transfer material in a third transfer process and which transfers the toner image well. SOLUTION: The volume resistivity of the second image carrying means is 10<10> to 10<16>Ω.cm, and the first and the second transfer processes are performed by a first transfer means which moves the toner image formed on the first image carrying means to the second image carrying means or which transfers the toner image formed on the first image carrying means to the surface of the transfer material, and a second carrying means discharging means which discharges the second image carrying means. |
