<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor provided with an attachable/detachable pointing device with which a coordinate data signal can be sent out exactly corresponding to the input operation intended by an operator. SOLUTION: A data processor 10 is provided with a base casing 16 supporting a keyboard 12 and a pointing device 18 attachably and detachably fitted to the base casing 16. The pointing device 18 is provided with an analog information input part 20 operable by different input operation more than two kinds and a light emitting part 24 for converting analog information to digital coordinate data and wirelessly sending it as optical signals later. Further, the data processor 10 is provided with a first light receiving part 38 arranged on the side wall of a mounting part 28 of the base casing 16 and a second light receiving part 42 arranged on an outer wall 40 of the base casing 16. At the time of use for mounting the pointing device 18, the first light receiving part 38 receives the optical signals and at the time of use for detaching the pointing device 18, the second light receiving part 42 receives the optical signals.</p> |
