<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the formation of a good image even at low surface potential and developing potential by using an amorphous silicon photosensitive layer of specified film thickness and using a developer containing a specified weight ratio of a toner which is produced by polymn. method with a specified shape index factor SIF. SOLUTION: As for the film thickness of the amorphous silicon photosensitive layer 1b of a photoreceptor 1, <=25μm is preferable and 10 to 25μm is more preferable. As for the particle size of the toner, the average particle size is preferably 4 to 12μm, and more preferably 6 to 10μm. The shape of particles is defined by the shape index factor SIF, and particles having 100 to 110 SIF are almost sphere. The toner in this range shows a significant effect. The weight ratio of the toner (toner concn.) in the developer is preferably 2 to 15%, and more preferably 3 to 10%. If the density is too small, decrease in the image density and drawing of a carrier on the photoreceptor easily occur. If the density is too large, the forming of fog and spread of contamination in a machine increase.</p> |
