<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a resistor of high precision efficiently in a simple process. SOLUTION: A punched-out part 20 is continuously formed, with a specified interval, with a band-like metal plate 10 comprising conductivity, and an electrode terminal 12 is formed with a remaining part between the punched-out parts 20, with a positioning part 26 formed integrally between the electrode terminals 12 of the band-like metal plate 10. Positioned by the positioning part 26, a resistor 14 is welded between the electrode terminals 12, then a resistance value of the resistor 14 is trimmed, the resistor 14 is insert-molded in an insulating resin 40, the electrode terminal 12 is cut off the side edge part of the band- like metal plate, and the electrode terminal 12 is bent toward the rear surface side of the resistor to obtain a chip resistor.</p> |
