<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating coil for integrally quenching a gear mounted to a shaft, in which induction heating can be applied simultaneously to the shaft and the gear ring. SOLUTION: In this induction heating coil, a coil circuit is formed of circular conductors 18, 19, 20 which are connected step-wise with a designate space formed between them and a diameter of a gear ring and in which electric current flows in a direction of their circumferences, two axial conductors 13, 14, 15 which are connected to both ends of the circular conductors 18, 19, 20, placed axially along the shaft with a designated gap formed between them and the shaft and in which electric current axially flows and input terminals 11, 11' for induction heating power connected to 13', 14', 15' and other ends of each axial conductor.</p> |
