PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a wavelength multiplex network that is applicable to a large scale network regardless of a simple node configuration in place of conventional complicated add/drop circuit without the need of a center node including an electric cross connector. SOLUTION: Exclusive optical fiber transmission lines 100, 101, 102 are respectively assigned to nodes 10, 11, 12, and each of the nodes 10-12 adds wavelength passes addressed to the other nodes by collecting on each of optical fiber transmission lines 100, 101, 102. Then the assigned optical fiber transmission lines 100, 101, 102 are terminated and the wavelength passes included in the optical fiber transmission lines 100, 101, 102 are dropped altogether. |
