PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate the desired shaded picture of a graphic by moving one side of the circumscribing rectangle of the objective graphic in parallel. SOLUTION: One of cut pictures which are layout-displayed on a display is designated. When the cut picture A of the form of 'house' is selected and the command of shadow generation is sent, for example, the graphic of a shadow congruous to the form of the cut picture is displayed on a layer below a layer where the cut picture A is displayed with the circumscribing rectangle. The selected upper side is moved in parallel while the graphic of the shadow which is internally contacted maintains an internally contacted state by fixing a lower side being the opposite side, and the original rectangle is deformed into a parallelogram, the graphic of the shadow which is internally contacted correspondingly deforms. Thus, the shaded graphic is automatically formed. Then, the cut picture A is overlapped with the picture of the shadow after deformation, a state is returned to original one and therefore the synthesized picture of the shadow, in which the shaded shadow B' is displayed on the layer lower than the cut picture A is generated. |
