PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a faulty image from being formed even when a recording material gets on a seam and to enhance the feeding efficiency of the recording material and productivity by feeding the recording material to a recording material carrier by evading the seam or regardless of the seam. SOLUTION: Paper information is detected (S603 and S604). Based on the detected paper information, the feeding timing of a paper is judged (S605). When it is good that the paper gets on the seam, the paper is carried (S608). When the paper is carried by evading the seam, the feeding timing is calculated at a feeding timing calculation processing step (S606). According to the calculated result, a feeding permission flag is set to a permitting state or a non- permitting state. Thereafter, the paper is carried (S608). When the paper is carried, the state of the feeding permission flag is judged with respect to the paper carried to a timing roller. In the case of the permitting state, the paper is fed out to a transfer belt. In the case of the non-permitting state, the carrying processing of the paper is inhibited. Thus, the paper is carried so as to evade the seam. |
