PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the improved multilayer units in laminates, intrinsically nonadhesive but to be made adhesive by interaction after laminating relief- forming layers by laminating a specified copolymer interlayer and a photopolymerizable or photocross-linkable layer in this order on a substrate. SOLUTION: The multilayer units for manufacturing the printing plate or the relief plate comprises the substrate and the interlayer and the photopolymerizable car photocross-linkable layer in this order. This interlayer contains a copolymer of a monomer with a copolymerizable monomer represented by formula I or II in which R<1> is a vinyl, 2-propenyl, 1-butenyl, 1-styryl, or R<2> -O-CO-ch=ch- group; R<2> is an alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl. or <=10 C cycloalkyl group; R<3> is an H atom or a methyl or ethyl group; and (n) is 0-5, especially, 0 or 1. |
