PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shielded cable connector by providing a strain relief member with an end wall having an opening and a ferule to match with the opening, and clamping a part of a cable on the ferule. SOLUTION: A part of an outside insulating layer 22 of a cable 20 is stripped off, so that a braided shield sheath 24 is exposed and a crimp ring 26 is slid on the stripped-off part of the cable 20. The braided shield sheath 24 is cut to a suitable length and a strain relief member 15 is so slid as to its ferule is positioned under the outside insulating layer 22. A terminal block is formed by attaching conductors suitable for the cable 20 to modules 17a, 17b, 17c and two half pieces of shields 11, 11' are connected in a snapping manner together. Finally, the crimp ring is slid on the ferule of the strain relief member 15 and a crimp process for crimping process is performed. The crimp ring 26 is used to clamp the shield sheath 24, the outside insulating layer 22 and a cable engaging part 12 on the ferule.
