<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain current adjustment through an AC power source by performing operation with the excitation of a rotating machine, so as to make change which exceeds an excitation range between zero and a maximum value. SOLUTION: This electric rotating machine is provided with at least one stator and one rotor, and the stator has at least one armature coil fitted to at least a pair of stator slots 203, and the rotor has a means of adapting a magnetic circuit which passes the periphery of the armature coil, connected, and to be set selectively. In order to generate magnetic flux surrounded by a circle in the circumferential direction of the rotor, at least one permanent magnet 208, and at least one exciting coil 209 for surely generating adjustable local magnetic flux in a circumferential direction opposite to the magnetic flux formed by the permanent magnet is provided.</p> |
