PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic latent image developing device being excellent in the property of carrying a developer, using three developer applying means therein. SOLUTION: The electrostatic latent image developing device 10 is provided with a first developer applying means 24 disposed in a developing area 6, a second developer applying means 26 disposed on the upstream side of the first developer applying means 24 and a third developer applying means 28 disposed on the downstream side of the first developer applying means 24. A part of the developer 50 drawn by the first developer applying means 24 is transferred to the second developer applying means 26, to take a developing action in the upstream part of the developing area 6. Then, the developer 50 which is continuously held on the first developer applying means 24, without being transferred to the second developer applying means 26 takes the developing action in the central part of the developing area 6, then, transferred to the third developer applying means 28 and carried to take the developing action in the downstream part of the developer area 6. |
