PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oil for a microscope extremely little in generating luminescence by excitation with UV rays and having good characteristics in various items such as optical properties, viscosity, non-drying property, durability and non-toxicity by compounding a liquid aromatic compd. having ether bonds into a liquid polybutene (liquid polybutylene). SOLUTION: This oil is prepared by compounding a liquid aromatic compd. having ether bonds into a liquid polybutene (liquid polybutylene) or a liquid block copolymer or by compounding a liquid aromatic compd. having ether bonds with a liquid compd. having aromatic groups and satd. hydrocarbon groups. This oil is prepared by compounding 30 to 90 pts.vol. of the liquid polybutene or the liquid copolymer, 70 to 10 pts.vol. the liquid aromatic compd. having the ether bonds and 0 to 30 pts.vol. the liquid compd. having the aromatic groups and the satd. hydrocarbon groups. As for the liquid aromatic compd., biphenyl ethers, dibenzylethers or the like can be cited. |
