PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer supplying device capable of stably supplying a developer by preventing the flocculation of the developer, even after an image forming device main body is carried or left standing over a long period. SOLUTION: In the developer supplying device which is provided with a developer housing part for housing toner (developer) 315, a stirring blade (stirring means) 301 for stirring the toner in the developer housing part and a toner carrying screw (carrying means) 302 for carrying the toner 315 and for driving the stirring blade 301 and the toner carrying screw 302 by the same hopper motor (drive source) 370, a carrying clutch (drive transmission part) 380 capable to transmitting driving force only to the stirring blade 301, in such a manner that the transmission of power to the toner carrying screw 302 is stopped is provided among the hopper motor 370, the stirring blade 301 and the toner carrying screw 302, to selectively transmit drive only to the stirring blade 301. Even if the toner 315 is flocculated because the image forming device main body is vibrated or left standing, the toner 315 in the vicinity of the stirring blade 301 is disentangled, the required rotational torque of the drive source becomes small and the toner 315 is stably supplied. |
