The mechanism consists of a lock housing (1) with actuating bars (3) for the different locking points and a bolt (9) in two separate sections to control the bars. The bolt sections are articulated about a common axis in a central recess of the lock housing and together occupy a space close in width to that of the bars' locking sectors. In addition, each one has a lower rear lug and an upper front stop which interacts with the fixed frame surround.
