The invention relates to an optical acoustic sensor, especially a microphone. According to the invention, a light beam is guided diagonally over a reflecting surface (3a) of a deflecting body or a membrane (3), by means of optical waveguides. The invention is characterised in that an additional reflection device (6) is provided in the path of the light beam. Said additional reflection device (6) improves the sensitivity of the sensor or microphone by ensuring that the light strikes the reflective surface (3a) at an optimum angle. By deviating the light beam, this optimum angle of incidence is also achieved without the use of additional space.
