There is provided a catalyst comprising: (A) a titanium metal compound represented by the formula: (C5R<1>5)TiX2Y; (B) a compound having the formula: R<2>H, wherein R<2> is an alkoxy, thiolato, carboxyl, or amino group; (C) an aluminoxane, and optionally a support or spray drying material (D). There is also provided a polymerization process employing the catalyst, a polymer produced using the catalyst, and a cable produced therefrom.
