The device consists of a main rail (17) with bores for one or more lubricant feeds (21,22), and two applicator lips (19) at a distance to each other. The lips are of felt, and the space defined by the lips is closed by a felt cover (26). Each sliding jack has a slide plate of Teflon (RTM), one or more applicator rails, and a casing. The concrete trough contains a grass playing field, subsoil, and drainage. The trough is carried on sliding jacks, moving on tracks.
