An adapter plate is designed in one-piece fashion and is made out of a unitary material. On the adapter plate is located at least one cable lead-through sleeve. The adapter plate has at least six bore plugs (3,4) on the support surface (10). On the adapter plate are located threaded holes (5) for the fastening of the terminal box and holes (6) for the fastening of the adapter plate to the motor housing. On the adapter plate are a connecting face plane (9) for the terminal box and a face (10) for supporting the adapter plate on the cooling ribs of the motor housing (11).
