<p>An address conversion table where the correspondence between the logical address and physical address for accessing a memory cell array (1) is listed and a free block table showing the locations of free blocks are stored in an arbitrary block of the memory cell array (1). When data is read out from the memory cell array (1), the physical address is found with reference to the address conversion table, and then data is read out. When data is written, a free block is found from the free block table and data is written in the empty block. The updated address conversion table and free block table are written in another free block.</p> |
