The oven has at least one oscillation source (6), e.g., an ultrasonic head, associated with the steel, enamel, glass, or ceramic glass oven liner (1), for providing oscillation of the latter, used in conjunction with a coupling fluid for cleaning at least part of the oven liner wall. An Independent claim for a method for cleaning a baking oven is also included.
