The base frame (1) has an open cross section with freely projecting circumferential sections (2,3) between which is fitted the window frame rail (4) to close off the cross section. The rail is rigidly connected to the circumferential sections by a snap connection in relation to one of the circumferential sections and by adhesive in relation to the other section.
