The rear seat has an opening (2) for skis to be loaded through into the passenger area. The skis are contained in a sack (3) with a tape-shaped reinforcing element (4). This extends in longitudinal direction of the sack, and encloses its closed end. The free ends of the tape pass through the opening, and are fixed to the rear seat. A retainer element (11) at the closed end of the sack is fastened in the passenger area. This may consist of a tape (13) partially enclosing the sack, and may be fastened via hook-and-loop fasteners (14) to similar fasteners in the passenger area.
