A printing machine having multiple distributed high voltage power supplies is disclosed. The printing machine comprises a print engine having a plurality of high voltage electrical printing machine components. A housing (57) supports at least one of the high voltage power supplies (73, 74). A receptacle (80, 82) mounted on the housing (57) receives an external connector (90) from one of the machine components. The receptacle (80, 82) is fixed on the housing (57) and is not detachable. A contact (84) located inside the receptacle (80, 82) electrically connects circuitry from the power supply (73, 74) to the external connector (90). A second contact (76, 78, 84) on the housing electrically connects circuitry from the power supply (73, 74) to a second external connector on the machine component.
