A package for distributing promotional information comprises outer packaging 2 enclosing an inner container 4 which is in a form representing a household article such as a lidded refuse receptacle, wheelie-bin, swing-bin, washing machine, cooker or refrigerator. The inner container 4, which can be made from plastic, cardboard or metal, is removable from the outer packaging 2 and has access means comprising an opening and a closure 5 which mimics the access means of the household article. Inside the inner container 4, there is an information-containing medium such as a folded or screwed-up piece of paper (6, Fig.1d) a CD Rom, a cloth article or a booklet which is removable through the access means. The outer packaging 2 can be a resealable tube which preferably has a lid 1 at each end of the tube and an address label 3. The outer packaging 2 can be made from impact resistant packaging material or shrink wrap plastics. |
