Process composed of the production of a mixture 1 of "sienna" earths 8 with a hydrophilic appearance 9, for adjustment of the viscosity thereof by means of the addition of water which, once applied 2, makes it possible then to create artificial graining 3 by means of the dripping of a solvent 10, continuing with a repetitive phase composed of a stage of varnishing 4, with the possible addition of ink or paint 11, drying 5 and sanding 6 stage until a high-quality suitable final finish 7 is obtained, imitating wood. The present invention is of great use in the decoration of the interiors of motor vehicles, buses and decoration in general. In the case of motor vehicles and buses, it may be used to give the appearance of wood to clock surrounds, central consoles, car-radio fronts, etc., and as decoration in general for telephones, picture and photo frames, furniture, etc. <IMAGE>
