<p>The proposed apparatus for treating a mixture of gases consists of an internal combustion engine (10) with a driven mechanism (11), usually an electric voltage generator being optionally complemented with an absorption stage (17) with an absorption column (5), a cooling circuit formed by a cooling system (9), a pump (8) and a piping (24), whereby in front of the absorption column (5) there is located in a gas mixture supply piping (1) a fan (3) and a pressure governor (2). Beyond the absorption stage (17) there is placed a controlled valve (22) and farther in the supply piping (1.1) there is disposed in front of the internal combustion engine (10) and in said piping (1.1) a piping (15) of auxiliary fuel with a controlled valve (14), a pressure transducer (20) and an auxiliary air piping (21) with a controlled valve (16). The internal combustion engine (10) has its exhaust manifold (12) provided with a lambda probe (13), whereby output, the lambda probe (13) data and optionally the power request of the driven mechanism (11) as well as the pressure transducer (20) output are evaluated by a control unit (19), which opens or closes on the basis of this evaluation the valve (16) in the auxiliary air piping (21) and the valve (14) in the auxiliary fuel piping (15). The control unit is also connected with the controlled valve (22), being placed in the supply piping (1.1) beyond the absorption column (5). In order to prevent penetration of fire in case of optional inflammation of the mixture there are placed in the piping of the apparatus individual sections pierce-proof fittings (4).</p> |
