PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the productivity of columnar composite food products typified by rolled fish-paste product as seasoned burdock rolled in meat and miniaturize the production equipment. SOLUTION: A paste and soft food material 9 is formed into a columnar shape and the food material 9 is heated to produce columnar food products. In this production, the food material is placed between a pair of electrodes 1A and 1B before forming and heating, the electric voltage is applied between the electrodes to heat the food product. At the same time, a rotation power is applied from one electrode side to the food product in the pair of the electrodes 1A and 1B thereby forming the material to a columnar shape. This process is particularly suitable for arranging the pasty soft food material 9 around the core material 11 to form a composite columnar shape by electrically conductive heating. |
