PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and continuously purify NOx by providing a flow-in cutting means for cutting the flow-in of the exhaust gas into a part of the catalyst area in the upstream side of the storage reduction catalyst interposed in an exhaust passage, and supplying the reducing agent to the one part of the catalyst area, in which flow-in of the exhaust gas is cut by the glow-in cutting means. SOLUTION: In an exhaust emission control device 30 provided with a casing 10 filled with the storage reduction catalyst 1, a baffle board 2 to be rotated around a rotary shaft 5 is provided in the upstream side of the catalyst 1. This baffle plate 2 is formed into a rectangular shape having a long side equal to the diameter of the catalyst 1 so that it can cut a part of a catalyst flow-in surface 1a in the slip stream of the baffle plate 2. The reducing agent R is supplied into the rotary shaft 5, and flowed from an injection port 4 to the outside in the radial direction inside of the baffle plate 2. With this structure, the exhaust gas G flows into an area of the catalyst 1, which is not cut by the baffle plate 2, and the nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas G is caught for storage, and on the other hand, the reducing agent R is injected to an area of the catalyst in the slip stream cut by the baffle plate 2, and the stored nitrogen oxide is reduced for purifying. |
