<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper delivery tray mechanism having a paper delivery tray which does not need to be removed from a device even when not used, and which can save the area occupied by the entire device when it is not necessary. SOLUTION: In this mechanism, a boss 107 provided at the base parts 104A, 105A of support parts supporting a paper delivery tray 101 is loosely fitted into a paper delivery side hole in a device such as a copying machine, and the tray 101 can rotate using the boss 107 as its fulcrum. A spring 111 is attached to the boss 107 and is hooked at one end to the device such as the copying machine to impart the force with which the end of the tray 101 rotates upward. Thus when raised more than a certain degree, the paper delivery tray 101 naturally rotates in a vertical direction and takes an out-of-the-way configuration when not used. At this angle or less, the paper delivery tray rotates in the opposite direction and is set into a paper storable condition.</p> |
