PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low vibration air conditioner by controlling the phase of an AC voltage being fed to a rotary compressor such that vibration therefrom is canceled based on the detected position of rolling piston of the rotary compressor. SOLUTION: Rotary compressors 1A, 1B having a rolling piston are provided for the outdoor unit of an air conditioner and the position of the rolling piston of the rotary compressors 1A, 1B is detected by means of rolling piston position detectors 7A, 7B while the phase at point X and Y is detected by means of phase detectors 8A, 8B. At the time of simultaneous operation of the rotary compressors 1A, 1B, a controller 6 controls the phase of AC voltage of an inverter being fed to the compressors 1A, 1B such that the vibration therefrom is canceled at the joint of refrigerant piping based on the signals detected by the rolling piston position detectors 7A, 7B and the phase detectors 8A, 8B. |
