<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop water completely by small pressing force. SOLUTION: A valve element 10 inserted from a through hole 1a drilled in an existing city water pipe 1 is constituted by a tough and nearly cylindrical outer cylinder 11 formed with a groove part 11d in a lower half part, tough inner cylinder 12 inserted gently to be slidable in an internal diametric part 11b of the outer cylinder 11 to be formed with an elliptic sectional shaft part 12b eliminating both side parts so as to be opposed to the groove part 11d of the outer cylinder 11 in a lower half part, and a seal member 13 of soft rubber charging with it a space between the shaft part 12b of the inner cylinder 12 and the groove part 11d of the outer cylinder 11 to be molded by protruding from the groove part 11d so as to bury a space between an inner surface of the city water pipe 1 and the outer cylinder 11. By press lowering the inner cylinder 12, the seal member 13 is swollen and closely attached to an inner surface of the city water pipe 1, to stop water, its pressure is received by the inner/outer cylinders 12, 11.</p> |
