PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high quality copy image constantly substituting the information of complex relationship included in the control system for an image forming apparatus, e.g. variation of external environment or interaction among respective sections of the image forming apparatus, for a membership function and handling it as fuzzy information required for appropriate control. SOLUTION: The fuzzy control system for an image forming apparatus comprises, various sensor sections 100 foe detecting various analog signals at respective sections of the image forming apparatus, a converter 108 for converting an analog signal detected at the sensor section 100 into an input signal for fuzzy operation, a unit 110 for performing fuzzy operation based on the output from the converter 108, and an MPU 111 for performing various control of the image forming apparatus based on the output from the fuzzy operating unit 110. |
