PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the printer output more delicately including limitation of use depending on the content of document or the user as well as limitation of a printer and to modify the limitation of use flexibly. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 receives an image forming data and a job data including a specified processing procedure from a host computer 6. A CPU 3 controls image formation (print output) according to the received processing procedure and communicates with an external record managing unit 7 according to the processing procedure. Based on the communication results, print output is controlled and the content of processing procedure being fed is changed thus modifying the control procedure for forming an image flexibly.
