PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily convert an on-vehicle wireless installation into a completely different type of an on-vehicle portable wireless installation in vehicle and vice versa using main parts in common. SOLUTION: An on-vehicle wireless installation (on-vehicle installation 1) comprises a cubic chassis 3 mounted with a circuit board for wireless equipment inside, a control panel 2 provided with an operating part of various switches and fastened to the front side of the chassis 3, and an upper cover 4 and a lower cover 5 for removably covering the upper face and lower face of the chassis 3. An adaptor is mounted in place of the lower cover 5 to obtain a portable wireless installation in vehicle (a vehicle portable installation). The adaptor comprises an intermediate cover presenting the same form as the lower cover 5, and a unit formed by mounting an antenna and a power supply (a battery pack or like) to a frame fixed to the intermediate cover. |
